Our Leadership
Golden odyssey consultants is led by global body engineering experts. It was founded by Mr. Gajendra Tawade on solid 12 years experience from automotive companies based in Detroit-Michigan area. While in North America he headed body shop division of Toyota plant. He was leading welding and dimensional engineering of RAV-4 and Lexas SUV. He has solid background in vehicle and plant equipment integration. He was leading Valiant-TMS’s welding division based in Windsor Ontario for 5 years. He led 31 projects from concept to installation for American, European and Chinese OEMs. He worked actively in advance manufacturing process, advance processing and digital engineering. Robotic automation projects were completed in record time and 100% accuracy with the help of simultaneous engineering. With the state of art machine integration, industrial and process engineering experience Gajendra moved back to India in 2013 to help technology transfer to growing Asian markets.
After coming to India he was offered an opportunity to turn around process technology and FCA automobiles. He was instrumental is increasing capacity of plant from 1,50,000 units to 1,80,000 units. Total investment was tripled to 1700 crore during this time. After 3 years body shop unit was turned around with systematic world class manufacturing approach. Today all the KPIs of FCA body shop are best among asia-pacific and EMEA region. He lead many vehicle launches including launch of Jeep Compass, TATA nexon, Avventura, Urban cross, Punto evo and Linea face lift.
